Aisha Gul
Aisha is the founder behind Ashpectrum, but her journey into entrepreneurship began with something much more personal - motherhood.
A mother first, Aisha’s path into entrepreneurship wasn’t carefully planned. It grew from a simple desire to build a life where she could be present for her children while also creating something meaningful of her own.
Like many mothers, Aisha refused to believe she had to choose between family and ambition. She wanted the freedom to be there for her children while also working toward financial independence and building something that reflected her own dreams and creativity.
That belief eventually led to the launch of Ashpectrum - a step toward creating a life where motherhood and entrepreneurship could exist side by side.
Having lived in both Hong Kong and London, Aisha’s life has been shaped by movement, culture, and exploration. She has traveled across the world, embracing experiences that range from the calm of nature to the thrill of adventure - from skies [sky-diving] to seas [scuba-diving], and across oceans through unforgettable cruise journeys. From wild landscapes to vibrant cities, and from scenic coastlines viewed at sea to bustling urban streets, her experiences span the East and the West, and everything in between. Whether through flights, backpacking journeys, road trips, or ocean cruises, each adventure has enriched her perspective, creativity, and appreciation for life.
Before starting her business, Aisha explored many different paths. Her journey has taken her through diverse roles - from retail and hospitality to aviation and tourism, along with unique experiences such as working as a sushi chef, teaching children, and planning events. She has also grown within the café industry, starting as a barista and working her way up to managing a café, learning both the art of service and the responsibility of leadership. At one point she briefly stepped onto the ramp for a show or two - a small but meaningful way to expressing her confidence and her interest in performance and connecting to audience.
Each role shaped her perspective and strengthened her adaptability, resilience, and curiosity to keep learning.
She often says one of her hidden talents is the willingness to try anything and everything and give it her best. That mindset has guided her through the many roles she has embraced in life.
What continues to motivate her most is simple: her children.
Aisha believes that self-care isn’t selfish, and that women deserve the space to grow, explore, and build lives that nurture both their families and their personal ambitions.
Today, Ashpectrum reflects that journey - a reminder that women can embrace many roles, many dreams, and still create something beautiful along the way.
