When I was about to bring a new life into this world - into my world, into our world - everything felt heavy. I needed support. Mentally, physically, emotionally, financially - every possible kind.
But in those quiet moments, I realized that the support I needed wasn’t coming from where I thought it would. The one who was supposed to be there for me, to walk with me through it all… wasn’t. And somehow, I was expected to manage, figure it all out, and just do it because that's what we’re supposed to do, right?
That was my reality.
And so, when I felt that emptiness, I did what I always do - I create / built. One step at a time. Just like with my babies, Ashpectrum grew alongside them. From nothing. From a whisper of an idea to a vision I could see clearly.
